*Micro Bevels are a decorative feature whereby the sharp edge of the board is planed off. The bevel more clearly defines the board edge.
*Brinell hardness:
The Brinell number indicates the hardness of a timber species; the higher the number, the harder the wood in question. *FSC certification is renowned to have the strictest requirements for ensuring the timber is from not just a sustainable source but also that specific practices are used to also safe guard wildlife and fair-trade. All FSC certified timber can be traced through 'Chain of Origin' scheme.
