English Whych Elm and American Elm are unususal and an ideal for wood flooring. The colour variation of English Whych Elm is also very unique, a warm brown colour with subtle shades of green, gold and silver. The grain is very fine enabling the floor to be finished to a very smooth silky texture once oiled or lacquered. American Elm flooring is more consistent in colour and has a brown hue with straighter grain similar to ash flooring.
